Founded as a family firm, Le Tissage was established in 2000 by Katia De Witte, James De Witte and Philippe Hanet. After the takeover of the weaving mill ‘Arcade’ in 2002, both companies merge and Le Tissage d’Arcade (LTA) is a fact.
Since the beginning, LTA has specialised in the production of superior wall-to-wall carpets and carpet borders for both commercial and residential markets. Located nearby the famed Belgium interior design region of Kortrijk, LTA’s high-tech production site is equipped with modern looms and is run by a team of designers, scientists and artisans who expertly marry cutting-edge materials and techniques with high quality sustainable production and performance.
In 2005, LTA launched 2tec2, an innovative, top quality woven vinyl floor covering. Later, in 2010, 2tec2 extends its range with the launch of ‘Fusion’ collection: a new genre of woven nylon and arguably the most environmentally responsible contract flooring available on the market.
A wholly Belgian product, the more than 40-strong 2tec2 collection combines appealing aesthetics with long-term durability. With the alluring appearance of fabric, this flexible, woven PVC and vinyl floor coverings offers all the advantages of synthetic material, including easy maintenance, stain resistance and increased safety and health standards.
All 2tec2 products are compatible with heavy use and are thus fitting for commercial applications. They can naturally be put to residential use as well. Examples of our stylish range can be found in the designer interiors of Giorgio Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, Hugo Boss, BMW, L’Oreal Cosmetics, Guerlain, Lavazza, Rolex and Cartier.
Available in both rolls and tiles, the 2tec2 collection meets European validation standards and is distributed worldwide.
